Edging of walkways, driveways and landscaped beds (as needed). Blowing of all hard surfaces throughout entire property*, removal of debris such as sticks and grass clippings. This service will start approximately the beginning to the middle of April based on the rate of your lawn’s growth and weather. Bed Maintenance/Weeding: Bed Maintenance is the removal of undesirable weeds and vegetation in your mulched landscape and flower beds. This service will be provided on a weekly basis throughout the growing season, and covers most mid-sized annual/perennial weeds. Removal of unwanted woody type growth is not a part of this service. A pre-emergent weed control may be applied to certain landscape and flower beds early to mid spring to help control weed growth. (Performed with weekly lawn cutting). Monthly weeding programs are also available.
Lawn Fertilization: Fertilizer is a seasonally balanced mix of Potassium, Phosphorous and Nitrogen (nkp). (1 – 2 times annually weather permitting)
De-Thatching: This process removes the layer of thatch (dead grass debris) that accumulates over the course of the year. Its removal increases the effectiveness of fertilizers and decreases the likelihood of fungus problems with the lawn. (1 time annually)
Insecticidal Treatment/Grub Prevention: This treatment is a blend of Insect control plus a low amount of Fertilizer. It will help prevent and kill an infestation of Grubs feeding on your lawn’s root system. For best results, this application will be applied in early summer and should be thoroughly watered.
(1 time annually)
Core Aeration: Core Aeration is the removal of soil cores to allow air, moisture and nutrients from fertilizers to penetrate deep below the soils surface where they are most effective. This will help stimulate new root growth which will help in the overall vitality of your lawn.
(1 time annually)
Slit Seeding: Slit seeding is the process of planting grass seed below the surface of the soil. A row of spinning metal blades cut rows into the ground; much like a farmer uses a disk to prepare his field to accept the crop seed. We use the highest-quality grass seed available. Seed emerges in 7-28. Be patient, water and it will grow.
Organic Fertilizer: Corn gluten meal is not only a great natural weed suppressant but lightly fertilizes the lawn all summer with a NPK ratio of 9-1-0.
Garden Bed Fertilization: Usage of organic plant specific fertilizers to existing plantings to boost plant growth and health. (Helps plants to better deal with adverse weather.)
